I have this blooin doblo 1.9 non turbo its a sx model its a bit of a gutless thing been digging around, took the sender out the tank, expecting to find an electric pump at the bottom of the unit however I just found a filter the plug connector has four wires as if it should have something else I keep reading about fuel pumps
The fuel filter is located on the fuel system of your Fiat Doblo 2. It is located just before the injection system. In other words, it is located right next to the engine block. You can identify it by its cylindrical shape. If despite everything you are unable to find this filter, we invite you to read the maintenance booklet for your Fiat Doblo 2.
Ok thank you for responding so quickly the van is running fine and over the last month or so the fuel gauge has not been showing correctly amounts in accordance with what’s in the tank so I’m wondering if the sender had gone in the tank or fuel float ..does the fuel tank need to be dropped to gain access to the sender in the tank or is the access from above in the back of van it’s a

The Stilo workshop manual does not show where the relay is, so you may have to locate it by tracing the wiring to it. According to the wiring diagram, the relay is not in any of the fuse boxes so is probably in the engine compartment somewhere. The relay is 30amp, so will probably be a small square one about 2.5cm².
Now I had the van serviced about 2 months ago and 2 days later I noticed that my van was steaming ( not smoking ) and then noticed it was leaking fuel from the front of the van. I’ve gone through 4 different people and all have said new fuel Pump was fitted and 1 guy said he put a sealer over the fuel injectors as it was covered in fuel. But
well my doblo is still messing around and despite the fault code saying boost pressure sensor, no one seems to be able to tell me where it is, i really want to keep this doblo, but im at my wits end sometimes it will run great all day then the next it will keep cutting out between every 5 secs
Rather than the then £200 for a Fiat fuel line I used a short length of fuel hose and clips £4. which fixed the problem. Finally it may help if you can get a good diagnostic tool MES or similar and read the common rail pressure when cranking as if low it may be a problem, worn injectors or fuel injector pump can be the reason.
