This is a lot if you consider that the stat increase isn't marginally higher relative to the price difference. Then, why do players craft ascended gear? I was looking for this comment- if you have full WvW infusions and an ascended breather, the value of that breather is that you can pop in a swim speed infusion and troll the shit out of people by kiting them hard underwater at bay or around South Island lake area by being so much faster. The maximum number of units you can buy or sell in a single transaction is 250, i.e. a single stack. The "items I am selling" view lists only the first 25,000 units you are selling for a single item. Entering "I am Evon Gnashblade" into the search box shrinks icons, offering a more compact view that can display over 30 items at once. Honestly I'd rather just convert the cheapest ascended option. If you spent 1% of the time it takes to get full ascended gear on the training golem and on some out of game guides (say around 1-2 hours tops), you will outperform everybody else in full ascended with your full exotic gear. If you want to run in blind with 0 clue of your class, build, boss mechanics, etc. full ascended will be less important
